Bill, a self-proclaimed “quiltivist”, is currently travelling across Canada collecting stories from Queer seniors for his Quilting the Progression of Queer Rights in Canada project. Q̓ʷalayu House will also be here to talk about their facility and who they service.\nWe meet in the Cordova Bay 55+ Associations room, located within Cordova Bay Elementary school, at 5238 Cordova Bay Rd. The entrance is to the left of the main school doors.\nGuests are welcome for a fee of $7 at the door.\nIf it’s your birthday month, feel free to bring along some goodies for the group!\n
