Sew-in on Saturday

We are having our April afternoon sew-in this Saturday, April 9th at Sawyer’s. $7 covers the room rental and you can work on whatever you like. It’s a great group that’s coming but there’s room for you too. Come join us from 12:30-4:30!

“But it’s such a pain to pack up my sewing machine and foot pedal. And to remember all the things I need to bring with me!”

Here are some suggestions for things you can do without a sewing machine:
  1. Sit and chat
  2. hand sew binding
  3. plan your next project
  4. iron fabric for your next project
  5. cut fabric for your next project
  6. get opinions about your work
  7. offer opinions about other people’s work
  8. baste a quilt
  9. hand quilt a project
  10. try English Paper Piecing
  11. tear the papers out from your finished paper piecing project
  12. catch up on your quilt magazine reading
  13. try some appliqué (check out Carolyn Friedlander for some modern appliqué)
  14. make friends
  15. help someone else
  16. or you could even prep your taxes!
Or drag everything along with you and have fun machine sewing! Either way, we’d love to see you.
