February 2018: Show and Share

Here’s what some of our members have been up to!
Susan made this striking charity quilt…. as well as this pillow made with an interesting overlapping technique.

Chris made a fresh and modern baby quilt.
This is Lois’s Gypsy Wife quilt, which is comprised of 24 different blocks and 79 blocks in total.
Ursula made this multicoloured geometric quilt, enhanced with spiral quilting.
Natalie has a goal this year of sewing her way through her fabric stash… here’s her first 2018 stash-buster completed!
Barb made this quilt for a baby shower gift. She constructed it in five sections, adapting Marianne’s adding-borders technique.
Ruth started a project using Tula Pink tiger fabric…

…as well as this quilt in warm neutrals, and a “Temperature Quilt” which will have one block per day, using blue on days when it rains and brown on days when it doesn’t!

Here’s Mary’s “Day Into Night” quilt – her own design, and the largest quilt she has ever made.

Stacie made a fun mini using selvages, for a swap.

She also made this “quilt-as-you-go” quilt…
…as well as a great bag and coordinating wallet.
And Nicole made a mini for a swap using triangles she started in a Katie Peterson workshop… four years ago!
