Improv Half Log Cabin

Inspired by the quilts of Gee’s Bend this months Block Lotto block is an Improv Half Log Cabin. Start with a dark blue square and add strips to two sides using new or thrifted cottons. This a perfect time to practice ruler free cutting to achieve a little bit of wonk in your composition. Finished blocks are squared up to 12 1/2 inches.
