Thinking About Transparency
The recently announced QuiltCon 2025 Challenge sponsored by American Patchwork and Quilting has us thinking about transparency!
This months block is inspired by one of the quilts featured on challenge page “Colouring Outside the Lines” by Liz Kuny.
The look of transparency is achieved with the use of value. We invite you to pull out your solid/tone on tone blues, and greens with white as the accent and practice this concept by making two blocks, one light and one dark.
