April Block Lotto
This month we are making a Helix
The block is pretty straight forward on its own, but the visual effect when you put a bunch of the blocks together will be great! A blue pillar with orange wrapping up around it.
To start, you need:
Medium to dark blue,
assorted print fabrics- 3 triangles( right angle, 5”x5”x7”(cut a 5”charm square on the
diagonal))
assorted print fabrics- 3 triangles( right angle, 5”x5”x7”(cut a 5”charm square on the
diagonal))
Orange assorted print fabrics- 9 triangles( same as above)
Kona White fabric- 6 triangles ( 3×5” charm squares, cut on
the diagonal)

Make six orange and white HSTs and 3 blue and orange HSTs.
Press and lay out like this.
And sew them together to make a lovely Helix
finished block size should be 12.5″ square.
