Debbie Jeske trunk show

It took nearly two years but we did it! We finally got Debbie Jeske to come chat with us and share her amazing quilts.

Debbie blogs at A Quilter’s Table, go here for her IG, and her monthly newsletter is always interesting. Debbie lives near Seattle and is a member of the Seattle MQG. She is a multi-award winning quilter and an all around nice lady.

Everyone has to start somewhere: all hand pieced and hand quilted.

Debbie’s first modern quilt, from a Flickr based bee group. Still mostly modern blocks though.

Improv!

This quilt was juried into the first AQS show with a modern category.

The first Tula Pink City Sampler sew-along.

The back with a faced binding.

A striped, pieced binding.

Mid-century modern, a bee quilt that won an award at QuiltCon a few years ago.

Crosscut quilt, Debbie’s first hosted on IG quilt along.

The bacon quilt!

This quilt was done as part of the year long improv exercise done by the Seattle MQG and used the Kona colour of the year, Highlighter.

Pantone colour of the year, Greenery.

The second Debbie hosted IG sew along, Improv stripes.

Her newest quilt, Double Tall Skinny Vanilla.

Thank you so much Debbie for visiting us!
