Monthly Meeting: What Got You Started?

Let’s get to know each other a little better by sharing the first modern quilt we ever made!

Bring in your quilt to share with the group, or just talk about it if you don’t have the quilt anymore. What drew you to modern quilts? What have learned since making your first modern quilt?

September Name Tag Challenge

We challenge all guild members to make a name tag and wear it to the September guild meeting. Getting to know each other starts with knowing/remembering each others’ names! Name tags can help us do just that.
At the break we will vote for our favourite name tag!

Library Books Sell-Off Silent Auction

Quilt Books & magazines that have been culled from our guild library will be sold with proceeds going towards restocking our library with new modern quilting books. The items will be sold by silent auction. Please bring some cash if you are thinking of purchasing any of these books.

Our 10th Birthday Challenge Quilts will be on display once again at the September meeting and at the end of the evening they will be returned to the members that made them.

We meet in the Cordova Bay 55+ Associations room, located within Cordova Bay Elementary school, at 5238 Cordova Bay Rd. The entrance is to the left of the main school doors. Please park in the lot in front of the school.

If it’s your birthday month, feel free to bring along some goodies for the group!

The event is finished.
