Our July meeting was well attended and was possibly one of the funniest meetings we’ve had. Certainly door prizes were hilarious! But we always have a good time. Here are the highlights.
At the end of the meeting we have some door prizes which are generously donated by our local quilt and fabric stores. This month we had:
Calico Cupboard gift certificate – Jennifer H.
Fabricland batting sampler pack – it was hard to give this one away! Lisa told us how much she loved the one she had bought recently, then was the winner! A second draw gave it to Linda, owner of Satin Moon. She passed as she has all the batting she needs 😉 The third time was the charm for new member Dani!!
anonymous (aka Lisa) thread container – Kari
and our prize for people contributing blocks for our HST drive, four lovely FQ from Satin Moon, Chris S!
Congratulations to our winners, and thanks to our donors.
This month we had TWO photographers, Lana and Rita. Thank you both for your efforts!

People LOVED the “Framed In” block. This block was so popular we split the blocks between two winners. Scroll down to see who won! |

|
Kari’s quit for a co-worker’s baby. All the circles are INSET – well done Kari! |
|
Barbara’s year of the placemat for all her nieces, nephews and great-nieces. (Kids get the Hungry Caterpiller ones on the left, grownups get the octagonal ones.) |
