It’s our September meeting tonight!
Tonight at Pearkes Rec Centre. 7pm, Owen room on the main floor – through the main doors and down the hall immediately on your left. Click the link for parking, maps and transit info.
This month we are both catching up and looking ahead. Also we are having a STASH SALE. A local quilter coming to the meeting to sell off her stash. Her prices start at “$1.50/FQ with prices going up from there on the bigger pieces.” Reasonable offers and deals will be accepted. Bring small bills please if you’d like to shop the sale.
Please bring:
• a mug for tea or coffee,
• your name tag to wear,
• your show and share,
• your block of the month for the block lottery. Instructions are HERE. This is the circular log cabin block we demonstrated at the July meeting.
• your HST blocks for our Charity drive. **New this month: please put your blocks, grouped by colour, in a zip top bag with your name on it. This will help Lisa immensely.**
• if your birthday is in August or September, please bring cookies or a treat to share,
• MONEY: cash, cheque or credit card if you are joining or signing up for sew-ins. We would like people to pay in advance for sew-ins.
Other info:
• There are no minutes or budget from the August meeting.
• If you are not a member of MQG Victoria there is a 5$ drop in fee. If you decide to join our guild the 5$ will be discounted from your membership dues.
