Netta just brought a fabulous picnic quilt for the evening. |

Tracy, Kim, and Lisa showed off their satellite group’s mug tote project. (Not pictured: Pam and Gayle) The mugs inside all matched as well. |

Ruth’s again, this one is the improv squares we think. |
Susan and the row by row she design for Satin Moon. Patterns and kits for this are now available through Gala Fabrics. (Including a Vancouver version!) |
Rosalie and a mini quilt with fabrics given to her by two different friends at two different times. |
Another quilt by Rosalie. |
The reverse of the quilt above. Not sure which is the front or the back but we love them both! |
Crin teased us that she had finally made a modern quilt! It looks great Crin. |
Looks good on point too. That’s Crin’s sister Anne on the right. She’s a great longarmer. |
And the back! |
Jay showed this quilt made of all African fabrics. She says she made up the pattern as she went. Looks LOVELY. |

Margaret will be teaching quilting in the fall at the Cook St. Activity Centre. Congratulations Margaret! |
This is the first project she’ll be teaching. |
And the second option she’s offering. |
Sharon is prepping for her winter quilt guild in Yuma Arizona. This year they are making quilts for the US Quilts of Valor (they alternate years. and spellings) hence the red, white, and blue colour scheme. |
Margaret has been teaching Sharon some quilt as you go. |
And OF COURSE you should match your shoes to your quilt. Or is it the other way around? |
Natalie is doing the Mighty Lucky Quilting Club and this is her project from March, called “One Wrong Colour”. The premise was to pull a colour palette then add a “wrong” colour, then add more fabrics to make the wrong one blend! Smashing job Natalie. |
The back. |
Natalie got some of those fabrics from our DeStash sale last year. What treasures will you find at our sale this year? August 18th!! Sell some stuff you don’t need/want/like, find some treasures that are new to you!
This quilt is for Natalie’s son’s seventh birthday next month and it is the FIRST quilt she quilted on her new long-arm! |
Well done everyone! Thanks for joining us, and see you next month at our DeStash/ReStash sale.
