Wonky Star Flower
Inspiration block “Starflower” by Angela Nash of mythreesonsknit.blogspot.com also found in the book “Modern Quilts from the Blogging Universe”
You Need:
4 solid white 5” squares (Kona White, and definitely not prints)
4 DIFFERENT medium pink to fuchsia 5” squares
Instructions:
1. Cut white squares diagonally to get 8 half square triangles (not pictured)
2. Piece white triangle onto corner of coloured square at a random angle, press open.

3. Add second white triangle onto another corner of the coloured square, also at a random angle. Press open.
4. Trim to 5” square.

5. Repeat three more times with remaining fabrics. Piece together 4 petals as shown in a pinwheel.

Trim to 9 ½” square.
One starflower block gets 1 lotto ticket, so make one, make two, make a garden of flowers!
